Wright-Patt Credit Union® Members Save Over $2.3 Million Through Save to Win Program

Through Save to Win Program Gamified savings initiative empowers credit union members to build financial resilience and win cash prizes.

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – September 15, 2025 – CUSG’s nationwide prize-linked savings program, Save to Win, is proud to celebrate the remarkable success of Wright-Patt Credit Union® (WPCU®), where over 2,700 members collectively saved more than $2.3 million in the program’s first year. By transforming saving into an exciting, engaging, and rewarding habit, Save to Win helped WPCU drive measurable behavior change and deepen member engagement across all financial stages.

Launched in April 2024, WPCU’s Save to Win campaign exceeded expectations, resulting in the opening of 2,743 new accounts and the awarding of $201,775 in cash prizes. Eligible members earn entries into monthly, quarterly, and annual drawings for every $25 saved into a Save to Win account, providing them a risk-free way to grow their savings while earning chances to win, potentially amplifying their savings even further.

WPCU’s campaign featured a retro video game theme that resonated across generations, capturing attention and building excitement. Digital and in-branch materials, member check presentations, educational workshops, and social media spotlights have contributed to creating memorable and impactful member experiences, bringing the program to life.
