Founded in 2013, CU Wallet’s on-device application and back-end infrastructure enable credit union members to simply and safely make mobile purchases with any payment card on any device. The company’s shopping digital wallet is available for credit unions now. It can integrate with a credit union’s mobile banking platform or simply lay alongside it. Users can search and discover local businesses, access money-saving coupons, find credit union-exclusive discounts, process payments and much more. Cardless cash access is available as an enhancement which enables mobile ATM withdrawals without an ATM card. Features in development include: order ahead, in-store payments, peer-to-peer (P2P) payments, card controls, and mobile reservations.
The new partnership allows CUSG to play a more strategic role by assisting credit unions of all sizes with mobile strategies in the evolving US payments ecosystem.
